Computer Technology like the GE Fanuc makes us Faster
What's the fastest way to get almost any job done in our society? If you work any type of desk job that I'm reasonably sure that you said that computers are the fastest and most efficient way to solve almost any conundrum. If you work in manufacturing for instance and you're probably familiar with the GE Fanuc PLC line of goods, and most notably the GE PLC line. This series of computers has aided in the speed and accuracy of manufacturing to a degree where would be almost impossible to revert back to a state previously known. This is one interesting aspect of Computer Technology, namely the fact that once we use that we've really developer reliance on it. It's interesting to think about how many car companies for instance would be able to develop car similar to what's being produced today without these highly of vault and intelligent computer designs that are making everything seemingly possible. Would it really be possible to build some of the vehicles that are being produced without the aid of these items or would we simply have to revert back to cars that were of the level being produced and the 1970s when Computer Technology was still in its infancy? These are some interesting questions to ponder I can say that I have all the answers but it's definitely something worth thinking about. We rely heavily on technology but it is brought us such exponential growth there would be difficult to ever revert back to a type of society that is not heavily technologically based.
