What are some tips for reading extremely boring school textbooks?
I have to read a chapter from a textbook before Monday but it's so damn boring. I mean, it's really boring and I can't stand it. On top of that, I have to write a paper summarizing the chapter. What are some tips for getting through it?

And I've already read the first 22 pages.
Usually when you read a boring text book you dont remember the last sentence you read so i would read and write down the important stuff, stuff you know will probably be tested on. Write it so u will remember it.
The Pierces - Boring
One of the best tasting sauces in my opinion is ginger cream. It goes really well with any sort of fish type. The sweet flavours in it and the creamy texture makes any bland boring fish like swordfish or even tuna, seem like a delicacy.
You'll need half a cup of white wine, preferably a Riesling. Half a cup of chicken broth and two table spoons of minced shallots. Then two small teaspoons of fresh ginger or one tea spoon of ginger powder. Then one third of a cup of a chopped tomato without the seeds. One cup of heavy cream and half a teaspoon of lemon peel.
Stir in the broth, wine, shallots and ginger powder in a sauce pan. Let it boil until half the liquids evaporate. This increases the intensity of the remainder sauces. Put the tomato with the cream in the sauce pan and increase the heat until it starts to boil just slightly.
Cook it until the sauce becomes creamy and thick and you should have no more than 1 to 1.5 cups of liquid left over. You should stir often and use a wooden spoon to blend in all the flavours on a regular basis. Add in the lemon peel and you can add as much salt and pepper as you enjoy in your sauces if you like to.
An alternative of this recipe is to replace the ginger with 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard. The end result is a slightly fatty sauce, but occasionally, it won't harm. It will however give great flavour to any bland fish steaks.
